My Little Hunter-Gatherer

You didn't think he was kidding about that side dish did you?

Chopped seaweed with viniagrette of mirin rice wine vinegar, tamari soy
sauce, and sesame seed oil, and garnished with chopped scallions.

In case you missed the original clip:

We did check to see if there were any poisonous sea vegetables in Britain, and learned that only the Desmarestia variety is poisonous, and it grows in deep water. We figured we were in the clear.

We were going for a knock-off the wakame salad we get at sushi restaurants that is SO GOOD...but ours was not as fresh or delicious. It didn't have the texture of wakame and looked more like cooked spinach than a fresh seaweed salad. Next time, we'll hold the soy sauce; it was already plenty salty.

Yes, I said "next time." Merrit's convinced that Mike needs to try it now...
